I have a 2014 Ballistic that is having some string wear due to the cable slide. I'm looking to upgrade it with a Saunders Hyper Glide but I read a review somewhere that said it caused them to have string wear because there wasn't enough of a gap on the hyper glide. Has anyone tried this on their Ballistic or know of a cable slide that will work without string wear?

You shouldn't see any significant wear through the cable slide, if you are maintaining your string properly. Be sure to wax your string after every shooting session, and you will see your string last much longer.
