Being from the neighboring Greene County, I can say that I would not go into the woods of Calhoun County. I think the movie Deliverance was actually filmed there.

Parts of that area had very little to no rain this summer, gonna be hit or miss on the acorns, sone spots could be awesome and only a few miles away not so good
