I asked this same question in another section. Why did the bow designers get away from the hybrid or cam.5 systems. Is there anyone other then Hoyt that still uses that system. It seems like most companies are going to the Binary or there version of it.

cam 1/2 is a hybrid cam system, same as PSE cams, one string, one buss and one control cable, all the same.....hoyt is still that.....

some companies called it cam.5 and some called it hybrid. I seem to shoot that system better for some reason. I had it on a Merlin, a couple darton's and now a 2010 Strother. Just curious as to why desingers got away from it.
