My bow is rated at 300fps IBO. my dl is 3in. under,dw is 12lbs. under and arrows are 38grns. over. The chrony says im shooting 305fps. Could this be a bad and danerous timeing issue? or is the manufacturor just being coutious in advertising for liability sake? I stoped shooting untile I know its safe.

Do you have cam lean ? or any thing like that ..is ATA and Brace ht right ? could be your chrony as well .. test it with another bow ..or take your bow and have a tech check it out ..

If your draw length is 27 inches, and your draw weight is 58 pounds, and your arrows weigh 388 grains, you are NOT getting 305 FPS, I don't care what bow you're shooting. Your chronograph is wack.

i would check the chrony, while shooting my bow i was gettting a consistent 270 - 273 range and then one shot went to 938, and then a 400 and then went back to 270-273.

It is probably a lighting issue, floresent lights will cause erratic readings. Check your light hood. You may need to replace the light or reposition the hood.
