I am looking to use 2613's indoor this year. Can anyone help, I'm shooting a 26.5" draw at 46lbs. Size, pt.weight, vane size and anything else.

Thanks for taking the time to read and answer this question.

It depends on competition you're gonna participate at: For FITA they're too big. Maximum fita diameter would be 0.360'', while 2613 are 0.406''. Go for 2315, with which you'll have a legal setup for any competition out there...

Not knowing which bow you shoot I ran some numbers for a Hoyt Ultratec XT2000, Cam and a Half (IBO 310fps)

At 26.5" draw and 46# you are going to need some looooooooong arrows and a really heavy point to break the spine of those logs you are looking to fling.

That being said, based on the above bow the following setup will spine correctly

Easton X7 2613
3" Feather Fletch
31.5" Arrow (I told you they would be long)
300gr glue in point
Standard nock

That arrow should shoot correctly at a whopping 138 fps

I asked a similar question sometime back regarding indoor and spine. Many gave a similar response. Don't worry so much about the spine. Just leave them long, hang a heavy point and use feathers.

I picked up some 2613's that were cut off to 30" and have 150 grain nibbs with 4" feathers. I was shooting them at various drawlengths from 28 to 29.5 (I'm playing around with drawlength to find where I hold best). Shooting about 52 pounds. They grouped fine and actually did better than I expected when paper tuning. The guy at the shop I go to basically said and does the same thing. He said he's shooting 2613's uncut with 200 grain tips (think that's what he said). I don't know his drawlength, but I'd guess it's only around 27". The last target he showed me using the 2613's was a 300 52x. Guess it works for him..

Most of the people I talk to say cut the arrow 1" past your rest and use 150 grain points. Will this be overspined? Sure. Will they group well at 20 yards? Also sure. I started shooting with full length shafts and 200 g points. After a couple weeks, I cut the shafts to 30" and used 330 g points. After a couple more weeks I cut the shafts to 29" (1" past the rest) and changed to 150 g points. The arrows still group well and are not as slow. Instead of 720+ grain arrows, I am now shooting about 590 g. While not fast, I don't have a three foot arc in the 20 yards. :) The 330 g points needed to break the spine down to the recommended level did not seem to do much for me.
