I shoot Gold tips and when I shoot into my deer target the arrows are very hard to remove. When I do get them out they have some ot the target material on them. I believe it is from the speed and the heat generated by the friction. I then have a heck of a time scraping the stuff off.
Do all carbon shafts doe this or just the gold tips and is there something I can put on the arrows for easier removal and no build-up? When I shot aluminum, I used to was my shafts for easy removal.
