I've been a longtime user of aluminum, but am switching to carbon for my new bow (Kodiak Outdoors Bow Logic 36).
What kind of carbon arrows should I be looking for?
Brand?
Size (thickness I assume?)
Type/length of vanes?

I will be shooting the bow mentioned above (RH), my draw length is 30, and about 65-70lbs. I just need a starting point. Thanks for any help. :)

Hollowpoint has a good suggestion, and I have one too. Go to the Arrow Brands web sites and check out all of their reccomendations. Gold tips are good arrows (little week on hoop strength and you split nock ends a lot), Bemans are good, Carbon Express, Carbon Teck, .... well they are all pretty good. :D

Thanks guys. :)
How do I know which kind of vanes I want (length, mounted)?
Thanks again!
What worked for your aluminums will work for your carbons, except you need to clean the carbon shafts very well (maybe rough them up just a little at the fletch end with 400 grit sant papaer or lighter) and use an agressive glue to hold the vanes/feathers.

As a rule of thumb, 4" vanes or feathers at a 1 degree offset or a helical for hunting. Use down to a 1.5" or 2" for target, etc. Remember, RULE OF THUMB ONLY.

When it comes to Vane type, again, what worked for your aluminum will work for carbon. :)
