I owned a Z7 and now have the element, the Z is a great bow, very smooth and quiet but the element is in my opinion awesome. Holds great, absolutely no noise or vibe/jump. But as always its best to shoot them for yourself. Definitely not going to be dissatisfied with either.

Both excellent if you have a hard time deciding---------buy one of each---------problem solved.

shot a z7, z7 magnum, element saturday, liked element the best hands down, was amazing

I shot both and they were close. The element felt a little better in my hand, and that's what I ended up with. If I had never shot the element, I would have been very happy with the extreme and saved $350. They are both great, but they have a different grip and feel in the hand. I think its a personal thing, but once you shoot both I would be surprised if you don't have a preference.
