I was wondering how many of you shoot the carbon express 3D select arrows for 3D? Also what is the diameter of the shaft and what do you think about them? Are they pretty tough, consistent weight, and straightness? Also can you get a nock bushing so you can shoot easton or Beiter nock? Thanks

If you are looking for a fat shaft , go with the GT 22 Ultralite Pro .
I can take a dozen bundle , make them ready to shoot , and within the last 6 dozens that i had there was not ONE flyer .Spine , straightness , weight tolerance , everything a bit better than the CXL's .
If you are lookin for a smaller diameter shaft , i would go with the UL Pro 400 from GT , same things than above ,Spine , straightness , weight tolerance , the CX 3d Select is far away from the GT .

even though they're not made in america, cx shafts are far and away my favorites for 3d. they group for me better than any carbon shaft i've ever shot. i recently sold my ace's and ordered medallions for field/fita in '05.

if you get some, put unibushings in them and use g-nocks. then they hold up great.

2005 Carbon Express

The CXL series for 2005 has a new nock that offers more protection to the nock end of the shaft. It incorporates a bushing and a Beiter nock. They have also made some improvements in the strength of the CXL shaft. They have also introduced a LineJammer 250 that I think will be popular with the 3D crowd.
