Carbon Express Revised their arrow charts

I just noticed that revised arrow charts for Carbon Express arrows are on their site. (No entries for the SST or Extreme though)

Finally my daughter is actually shooting an arrow that matches the spine chart. According to the new chart 24 to 28 pounds and a 29 inch arrow length requires a 900 spine arrow which is what she actually shoots. (The old chart would have put her on 750 spine arrows, had I trusted it.)

Anyone else shooting Carbon Express arrows? How do your arrows fit the new chart?

Just checked, I'm shooting nano pros and medallion pros in the 550 spine range which is 1 or 2 blocks too stiff on the new chart, though I have gotten them to tune relatively well.. (I'm definitely not about to rush out and change arrows till I kill most of the existing arrows ;-). )

I'm also not surprised as my bare shafts are showing stiff by about 6-9" at 30m..

My wife's medallion XR's are spot on though, (recently changed from carbon ones)

Nb I'm shooting 40# hex 6-H, with approx 42# on the fingers..

I shoot MXRs and the new charts are accurate now..but that's because I recently moved up to limbs #4 heavier. Previous charts ran a size or two too stiff I think.

I can't take credit for all the changes, but I did spend quite a bit of time trying to help ensure they are accurate with actual data points from tuned setups I have personal experience with.

Just remember folks, these are SUGGESTED starting points. You may very well need to move up or down a box depending on your personal setup and shooting style.

Enjoy!
