I just got the release and have a question. I like the release but the release hits my jawbone when I anchor. Will this be a problem or just part of this release. I had a RX2 and I don't remember the contact with it. Thanks for any suggestions.

I had the Quickie2 and now have a RX2... the RX2's head design is different and doesn't make contact as much or isn't as pronounced... the Quickie2 curves back into the jaw as opposed to the RX2 rounding away... you could probably get used to the Quicke2 or adjust how you anchor against your jaw too alleviate any unwanted contact pressure.

The contact really doesn't bother me but will it affect the shot?

Ok....I shortened the strap and its much better. I guess I had it too long and was reaching for it and didn't realize it. I love the trigger on this release. I forgot how crisp Carter's triggers are. I have been shooting Scott hex and now have the heavy spring in the quickie 2 and I'm shooting it with a surprise release too.
