Can the bearings be replaced in a Martin cat cam or do you have to send it back to Martin I have a cam that is not spinning as freely as the other one Thanks cam is on a 2008 Firecat.

I would think that Martin would replace it if it does have a problem. They would probably send you the whole cam assm.
Or-
You can press it out if you want - take it to your local bearing store - have them match it up and press a new one in. Just be very very carefull because if the bore gets damaged and the new bearing is loose or crooked - you just destroyed the cam...

The problem most likely is to much press on the bearing. You will need a new cam.

if there is no side play. remove axle carefull as not to loose where the shims go. polish axle with crocus cloth, that is a fine emery. greese axle with moly greese reinstall your good to go. if you have a slight side to side play dont worry about it. if its sloopy replace the bushing any martin dealer can get them

It has roller bearings not bushings so IMO sanding down the axle is not the best option.
