When I switch I just shoot through paper and adjust based off that.
Just this week I went from my TAC set up of the 6.5 Eastons to my hunting setup of RIP XV. When I paper tuned it the rest did not have to move at all. I did have to tweak the "SET" technology a bit but that was it.
So I don’t necessarily have to use a 5mm arrow with a bubble on it to level it again since it was set up with a 6mm level,, just paper tune a bullet hole by using up and down adjustment? Makes sense.
Shoot it as it is and adjust accordingly. May not need to do anything. I a moves is required it will be minimal. You are talking about a 1/2 mm change in realty
I went from a GT Hunter to a 5mm Axis, and then to a BE Rampage and did not have to make any adjustments to my rest. I currently have a set of 5mm RIP XVs and a set of 4mm GT Pierce arrows that shoot identically through paper and out to about 50 yards.
chances are if your rest is already tuned, the most you will have to do is move the rest up a touch a bit. That is all dependent on how your previous arrow was set up.
