Before you bash me for being dumb, everyone was new to bowhunting/archery at sometime...remember that:wink:

Anyway... I have a Hoyt Ultratec w/ XT2000 limbs. It is adjustable from 60-70lbs. I know it is set around 65lbs now, which was fine, before I started having some bad shoulder pains...

I want to turn it down to maybe 60lbs or so.

Do I just loosen the limb adjustment bolts?

Stop me and give me advice before I do something stupid.

Thanks!

Back it out 1 turn at a time on each end. Check it with a scale and loosen as needed.

dont forget to loosen your limb pocket locking bolts before you take any turns out of the limbs... then back out one turn to each limb at a time when its where you want it, lock the bolts down again and youre good to go
