CHL rod problem

I just got my CHLs back and the anodizing on the rods looks like crap, but the bases are perfect. They don't seem like they match, I think that I am going to send them back and have them anodized again. Does anyone know why this is? I am definatly switching shops...I want to be proud to put my name on these.
