I have a Cobra Viewmaster pendullum sight that I bought at a local store while it was on sale but now I find myself scratching my head on how to sight the thing in. I have nice fixed pin sight that I am going to use most of the season but I am going to try to use this in late archery so I want to sight it in now.

About the sight.....There are 2 pins on the sight and a locking system so you can use it for ground hunting. When I sight it in do I sight it in from the tree at 20yds or from the ground at 20yds? Do I sight it in with the pendullum locked you free floating? Thanks in advance for the help!

While I don't have that sight.

All pendalums are basicly the same.It should be free swinging. On the ground you can do rough windage and elevation adjustments should be made only about 10 FEET from the target. The next step is to climb till your feet are at 15 ft.The target should be at 20 yds.once you get it zero'd at this range you should try the target at other ranges,6,15 and 30 yds.If you have it set right
it will be on at ALL ranges. You can lock it and use the other pin for ground
zeroing.
