Colorado high country cover scent

what is the best cover scent (other than elk urine) for colorado high country elk hunting 8,000-10,000 feet?

i usually go out in late august, clip some green sage, and boil it. makes a nice little cheap cover scent.

dont boil it too long though, ya wont get the smell outta your house.
