Do people own more than one compound - one at a much lower weight that can be used to shoot lots of arrows for practice versus a heavier weight for hunting when you might take far fewer shots over the course of a day or week of hunting?
I shot a 55# DW bow and it was tough (it was a 70# bow with the bolts backed out) for me. I am coming off of shooting a 20# junk borrowed recurve and then I bought a recurve where I put 30# limbs on it (and have 45# limbs for future hunting). I know it's not exactly a comparison between recurve and compound but just giving context.
