I had a question. I am turning 21 cinco de mayo. I was wondering can I just take the concealed class and not worry about basic pistol? Or do I have to take both? I was just wanting to check before I sign up for anything. Any other information about your concealed experience is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Varies state to state. I know in Maine there is a 12 hr course that is given, then after you do that you apply for your permit.

There are maps that will show what other states honor each states permits.
For example, I am from IL and have a FL permit. Although I cannot use it in IL, I can use it in NC and elsewhere. Assuming NC honors FL permits, I only have to do a instructional class, I think it was about 5 hours or so, I cannot remember. No shooting needed.

i had my ccw for a while , but since my handguns are all pretty large, i never ended up using it... and in missouri you dont need a licence to carry a handgun in your vehicle,, so mine just expired and i havent gotten it renewed.
