Congrats to Robert Morrow (AKA "the rob", RobertM) for making the final four in the Buckmasters Top Bow Indoor world championship in Greensboro NC at the Buckmaster's expo.

He shot his arse off. Cool as a cucumber throughout with the spotlights on him and a packed coliseum looking over his shoulder. Made some awesome shots under pressure.

I walked up to congradulate him after he lost the semi round to Joseph Goza. I told him that Goza had won this shindig four times in the past.............. If you gotta lose to somebody......... might as well be him.:wink:

But as promised, I now take back most of the ugly things I've ever said about him here on AT. This clown can really shoot a bow.

WAY TO GO ROB. You rock. It was fun to watch you shoot.

Thanks SPECTRE, it was my pleasure to finally meet you in person. The Rob was going to come by your booth after he took his son over to the Young Bucks Outdoor deal and got some food, but the Rob's son tried and Robzilla was pretty drained his self. The Rob is really sorry he didn’t get to visit with you more. But now that the Rob knows what you look like, the Rob will certainly visit with you the next time he sees you. :wink:

The Rob saw Kward as he was heading out of the stands to get ready for his next round. The Rob looked for her later on but didn’t see her. The Rob thought she might know the whereabouts of OBT. Speaking of OBT…….like always, the Rob didn’t see him. What can a dude do…….the Rob told OBT he was coming to town…….the Rob even asked Keith Brown several time where the great OBT was, but neither Keith nor the Rob could find him. OBT might need to consider changing his name to “George Jones” as many times as his been a “no show” in the Rob’s presents.:mg::shade:

The Rob indeed had a good weekend. The Rob did come up one target short (no pun there SPECTRE) in the semi-finals against Joseph, but hey……the Rob looked like a pack mule thrown in with a bunch of thoroughbreds when you consider that the Rob ain’t sponsored by any company, pays his own entry fees, and buys his equipment. The Rob was blessed by GOD with his 4th place finish far beyond what he deserved. LORD willing, the Rob will do better next year. :thumbs_up

The Rob would like to thank George Harris, Connor, Chris (aka RecordKeeper), Lynn (aka Reggie), Richard (aka DotKiller), Willim (aka Potato749) and the rest of the Custom Archery Center gang for the Rob get as far as he did. Shooting with y’all has helped the Rob so much. Y’all are truly the “best of the best”. The Rob would like to thank BowTech for making a great bow. The Rob’s Old Glory shot great all weekend long. The Rob really wished he could have got BowTech a win. BowTech makes such a great product and since the Rob ain’t sponsored, he can choose and shoot what he thinks is the best bow on the market……and he chooses BowTech.:thumbs_up And lastly but certainly not the least, the Rob would like to thank all the members of Archery Talk. The insights and knowledge the Rob has found on this site has been invaluable not only in Buckmasters, but in all the Rob’s archery skills. Y’all are the ones who truly rock.:shade:
