Covert picture problems

Not sure if this is because of low-light, but I regularly get pictures of bucks and the clarity is too distorted to make out points. I have a few MP8's and 6's, with the pixels set on 8 and 6; and sensitivity set on low. Is there anything that I can do with the cameras to fix this?

Your not doing anything wrong. Most cameras will get blurry pics when the subject is moving. You can try and stop them with some corn on the ground if legal. Some cam's are better than others. The mp8 and mp6 are good cam's but are really bad with blurry pics. I sold mine because of that.

Look at how Clearly you can see the twigs in each photo. The issue is not with the camera. it's the deer moving. The photos don't look grainy or blury just the moving deer. corn or a lick of some kind would get them stopping. I don't know those cameras but I always use a three photo burst on my stealth cams and there might be 2 blurry but normally be tween the three photos I will have one where the deer is still. just my 2cents

The camera obviously takes decent night time photos look at the photo in general. The trees and the underbrush are not blurry what so ever. yes there are probably better cameras out there that will reduce or eliminate some or even all of the blur from movement. The question was "is there anything I can do to fix this" yes he could use a different camera and spend more money on Somthing that isn't necessarily needed to hunt. or he could simply throw out a handful of corn or block of some kind to stop the deer and then the deer would match the clarity of the rest of the photo. I'm not sure that bashing the products he has purchased gives him any input on how to reduce the blur on his already purchased cameras. I'm sure the last thing he is looking for is for someone to look down on his purchases.

Not everyone can or wants to use bait to get a clear picture of a deer! The point I was making is you shouldn't have to. There is nothing the OP can set his camera to make the night pics better. That's unfortunate, and simply has to do with the manufacture. I simply stated that homebrews solved this problem more than a decade ago. You are right pour piles of corn where you want to place your cameras. Then delete 100's of pics of ****!

Lol I actually like to see pictures of the blue jays and ***** and porcupines. I wasn't saying throw out a whole bag of corn just a handful to get him to stop for a second or two. maybe spray some apple cider on the ground to get him to stop. I agree that the camera itself Proabaly lacks the ability to eliminate the blur itself. No worries. I respect the no baiting opinion and I'm working towards eliminating baiting myself. It can be tough on state ground in Michigan to get deer consistently to come within bow range. without a little Somthing to tickle there fancy. when Billy Bob and Bobby sue have a truck load of sugar beets and shell corn piled up 300 yards from where you have scouted a natural runway. I have moved away from corn and beets and carrots and now use acorns mineral licks and powder attractants. they use these sites as a pit stop rather than a destination feeding area. I've increased my deer activity ten fold from years past. Didn't mean to come across as a throw out a 100lb bag of she'll corn and set a camera next to it kind of guy.

This is Common with Covert Cams, Covert has this as well as false triggers and green pictures when it gets very cold out in the field, Don't get them with Moultrie, Browning, Stealth or Uway! Don't own any Coverts these days 3 new out of the box had Issues like this!
