i dont think that the geometry of the bow is the factor that causes limbs to crack, it´s the contruction of the limb, material etc. that is the problem.

One parallel, 3 not.

Two of the bows that I've had cracked limbs with, there is a problem with the limb bolt/limb pocket setup. There are many more factors that contribute to limb breakage than whether or not the limbs are parallel. That said, many parallel limb bows have pretty short, highly stressed limbs.

I tried to vote, but wanted to vote for both, since I have had cracked limbs on both parallel and non paralell. would only let me pick one or the other, so I could not vote.

Bowtech Constitution - 3rd Set of Limbs in 1-1/2 Months

I'm on my third set of limbs on my Bowtech Constitution in a month and a half. That's parallel. I've had a broken limb on a Parker Hunter Mag as well. Whatever happened to my old Bear Kodiak Special?

I think this will be pretty easy to predict since many people here have been shooting a whole lot longer than parallel limbs have been around, limb technology wasn't the best back then and people really pushed the weight limits to gain a little extra speed (5fps @ 200fps makes more of a difference than 5fps @ 300fps).

I had it happen on a Diamond Liberty and I saw it on a Bowtech Tribute.
