Well I received my bow back from Mike today and all I have to say is the thing looks great. Servings are tight and clean and the string looks great. I can't wait for tomorrow to go shooting. I better take some extra arrows:wink:.
I just want to say thanks to Mike for the great job and working through things with me. If you have not had the opportunity to deal with Mike on the phone or through his shop you don't know what you are missing out on. He is one nice guy and full of a world of knowledge.
Here are a few pics of the bow. I hope the pictures aren't to fuzzy after being compressed.
When I sent the bow to Mike it was shooting 289 with a 367.5 grain arrow. When I received it back it was shooting 296 fps with the same arrow and my draw length was 1/8" shorter! We'll see how much quiter it is after I shoot this weekend.
Well after shooting the bow for about 2 hours on Saturday I came home 2 arrows short . My only question for people that have had a trykon or trykon xl crackerized is: are you having any issues with the top string leech hitting the floating yoke? If so how do you fix this?
