Crimson Talon - CROC

It's a good head. I think a lot of people just don't know about them. I like a left bevel, so I'm shooting the Trifecta 1-1/4" single bevel right now (Crocs only come in 100 grain for left bevel and I shoot 125). It did some damage on the doe I shot a couple weeks ago.

The few 1.5” heads I’ve shot have been more forgiving in flight than about any 3 blade, it’s a great blade dimension, but for some reason, people think that they are a big head…

I probably sound like a broken record, but I want more 1.5” 2 blade options, especially in double bevel for me personally

if they don’t show up in the market, I’m seriously considering having one built, like an S7 1pc simple 1.5” 2 blade

even the GK xl, which is a very large head, is very forgiving in flight, and they zip through critters and leave a good drain hole

I do put more value in edge retention with short heads like the croc, because the short head/steep blade angle needs to stay sharp or penetration suffers

even a black hornet ser razor with no bleeders and 1.5” 2 blade would suit me well
I was very happy with the results from the 1.25" Trifecta and may get some of the 1.5" blades to try out. I know it's a single bevel and not double, but they fly really well and are super easy to hand sharpen. It took me maybe 5 minutes to get it back to paper slicing sharp after going through a doe's elbow and ribs and into the dirt behind her.

The head I used was the solid blade. This one below is the vented 1.5" blade.

Is there enough room between the
blades edge and the side of the bow?
Or, does the arrow need to be a little longer so the BH is in front of the bow shelf?
That will vary depending on your bow model and center shot.
