You can use any standard string jig. You just have to have a smaller spacing between the posts for really short cables and use 3 posts instead of 4. This is on ly required when you are making cables that are 14 inches and shorter. I prefer Lil jon's jig or Joe Bass's jig, they are tough as nails.

This one is cheap, easy, can be broken down for storage and is very strong.

I made me a junkie one but it gets the job done. I bought $105.00 for 452X string and a spool of 3D end serving and a spool of .019 Halo serving. I can make a lot of strings and cables and reserve a lot of times when needed. It's a lot cheaper for me to do it myself. I like working on my own crossbow.

Before anyone says my streachers are on backwards, I know that. it is only for my long bow I turn them around. Crossbow strings are made easy with this jig. Even comes with a video to learn.

I made the same one. It more than does the job for re-serving or serving in cat wiskers. When I use it I just put it in the vise on my work bench.
