Did anybody else listen to Remi Warren’s most recent Cutting the Distance podcast? It’s a little longer than his typical podcasts (53 mins) but it’s entirely focused on archery practice that translates to hunting success. He had a long list of different exercises to do, some that I’ve heard before and done but also some that I haven’t. I found it really interesting and helpful. A couple of things that I’m going to work on is obstructed shooting (understanding the arrow’s flight path, ranging obstacles and using that to evaluate if the arrow will contact obstructions between me and the animal), understanding how much canting the bow impacts the result, shooting from in the shade to sunlit targets and vice versa, and a couple others as well. Posting a link below. I listened to it on the way to the cabin - perfect way to pass the time.
