ok I got a new alphamax 32.the dealer put a loop on it for me but it seems to be slipping on me after a few shots.I know I've seen guys put a nock above the loop but you will loose some speed if I put one on.any other suggestions??maybe tie a extra serving above the loop so it can't move up??also what you guys have for center shot on the alphamax.I got mine at 3/4in from the riser.thats what hoyt said to put it at.I can put a field point and a slick trick in a silver dollar @ 20yds.figure thats pretty darn good.

I take some pliers and try to tighten the loop a little bit, just BE CAREFUL with that. Hope this helps, and good luck shooting.

d-loop

I've had the same problem. I attibuted it to the string breaking in, but I also think the STS stops the string so quick that the d-loop wants to keep moving and that causes it to spin. After the string settled down, I did tighten the d-loop with d-loop pliers and it works fine.
