Howdy all!
Do any of you who use d-loops notice any serving seperation when changing out your loops? I notice it mainly on the bottom knot. I usually reserve the string right then but I just put this loop and the serving on about three weeks ago and needed to shorten it a little. What can be done to avoid the seperation? The next question may sound a little dumb but I serve my strings pretty tight. Should I replace the serving even though it is only three weeks old?
Thanks for the input!

Man, I don't understand that! I'm using the same strings as you (Vapor Trail), I'm shooting my hunting bow at 84 lbs., and have never had his servings move. I shoot with a under loop.

I normally pull my loop really tight when I tie it. I have seperated the serving before. If it seperates I will normally reserve the string when I change the loop out. I don't know how to measure how tight I serve my center serving it is mainly by feel. If the serving seperates and I reserve it it normally will not split again. One more thing, I usually tie a small string nock between my nock and the bottom knot on the loop. I tie that as tight as I can and this is where it will normally seperate.
