Anybody have experience with these boots? I'm looking for new pair of cold weather boots, my current boots are 400 gram pronghorns and I'm pretty happy with them but My toes are always frozen after a couple hours on stand. I think my feet are too big for the boot blankets to fit, the heated insoles and socks seem unreliable and I hate having to carry extra stuff like batteries and chargers etc, pack boots always seem a bit clumsy, I tried arctic mucks and they were the worst boot I ever wore, so I'm running out of options and was thinking of trying these out. If anyone has a review or a recommendation for a different boot I'd be happy to hear it. I hunt NE Pennsylvania through December

If Danner's fit you well then I'm sure you'll like the 1200 for late season with a good sock system. FYI I have the Pronghorns uninsulated for pheasant hunting and the High Ground 1000 gram for mid-late season in Minnesota and have been happy with them. They are good up until it gets down to 10 degrees or less, then it's time for the Pac Boots.

I liked the ankle support the Pronghorn 1200 offered. In the Pike Co. PA, the cold cut right through them.
The Baffin Apex boots are what I ended up with. You buy a size larger for those boots and your feet stay warm. The boots aren't the most supportive but the insulation can't be beat for a pac boot.
