I ordered a pair of Danner 1200g Pronghorns during their sale for my cold weather boot.

I am extremely sensitive to pressure on the sides of my feet/tows and have a hard time finding boots that I like. Usually within 15 seconds of putting my right foot in I can tell if a pair of boots will work.

The problem I have with the Pronghorns is my right foot feels great but my left foot is just snug enough to annoy me. I have never had my left foot be the limit on a pair of boots so this is new to me. They aren’t bad enough that I immediately know they won’t work but also not good enough that they are a home run.

I’ve just worn them around the house for a couple hours incase I decided to send them back.

My question for those who have the new Pronghorns is did you see them break in and loosen up any? If my left boot would open just a little they'd be winners. The last thing I need is another pair of $250
boots sitting around doing nothing.

All my Danners have stretched. I have wide feet and my little toe is always a problem. Can only wear Danners and Keen.
Same here, my right little toe has a perma blister/callus because it is constantly rubbing on my shoes.

I have a pair of the MocToe Recurves that fit great and wear a lot of Altra tennis shoes.

Danner boots run a bit small, also don't use anything but silicone based products on them, I made the mistake of using sno-seal on mine and it dissolved the stitching. It states it on the box,,,you could try an extra large sock on the tight boot and it might stretch it out.

I checked and mine are 2 sizes larger then my shoe size. My feet will swell up while walking/running. With 2 sizes larger and a thick pair of socks they fit about right after walking 1/4 to 1/2 mile
