My dad has the Vegas; he shoots it at 50# and HW is 17# (so the letoff is 66%). As he is over 70 he would prefer a slightly higher let-off. ATA is 38.5 (in spec I believe) and BH is a bit high at 8.2".

I shoot hybrid cams (Hoyt Spirals) and think the Vegas is a binary (is that correct?), so not sure how it works? How does he get BH to spec and let-off to 80%? I was thinking untwisting string and untwisting one of the cables but not sure which one (?)

The bow shoot through paper OK but isn't grouping as well as he would expect.

Does he have any of the plastic draw top modules installed? If so just remove them, 80% is without any draw stop tab installed. If not he must be out of spec or something is wrong to get that low of letoff. Are the timing marks on? In the ballpark? Yes it is a binary.

no he doesn't have the plastic bits installed. he's shooting it at the lower end of the draw weight range (i.e. it's a 50-60#, he shoots it at 50). he has emailed Darton but I don't think he has had a response so far.
