Can anyone tell me on average how much ground a deer will travel per day.
Don't know if they walk miles, or just hang around one particular area.

Most deer have a 1 square mile home area that they frequent. Occasionally a rutting buck or doe chasing her buck fawns away will travel in excess of a few miles even, but one square mile is the general area for most of the year.
