Deer blind windows- clear or tinted?

My buddy and I are building an elevated deer blind. We’re looking into buying windows but don’t know whether to get normal clear windows or tinted. We’re looking into Original Deer Blind Windows, they offer clear and grey tinted.

My main concern with the tinted is visibility in low light conditions. Does anyone have any input/experience with these?

Thank you

Def Tinted for me. You typically leave a few open when in there, they just darken it behind you and you can still see. Can always open one when getting dark.

I acquired about 5 blinds with a farm with clear. Tried to take that auto tinting paint and “smoke” the windows. It did not turn out good at all, so I just smoked high and low and left a clear strip in the middle, but it keeps enough light out.

Depends on what you mean by Tinted. The Stuff they use on autos is pricey and is peel / stick. And finding Lexan Plexiglass in the size you want is also difficult unless you can find a Plastic Seller and he has some Scrap Pieces. Especially Tinted / Smoked. And Most that offer Blind Windows is mainly Clear. Unless you make your own using Lexan Smoked Plexiglass. It is not easy to find but in small pieces unless you are willing to Pay but Tinted is the Way to Go!

More important to have pitch black interior and DEAD silent windows....tinted windows make it very tough to see through during the key first and last minutes of daylight, ESPECIALLY if it is a blind that will be situated in the hardwoods. I prefer clear....
