I don't know where you would have seen it, and the date is wrong because the operator(me) screwed up.

I found a fresh pair of sheds on Dec. 31st and saw a nice 150" buck still carrying both sides on March 31st on the same farm.

i saw an elk with one of it's horns still on it on monday of this week. it was a 4 or 5 point. gonna be a nice one this year.

last years fawns can still come in through March. My theory is if your doe to buck ratio is to high then the bucks cannot keep up causing you to still have does coming into heat through march keeping the bucks testosterone levels high and therefore making them hold onto there antlers longer. I raise deer and also know that some guys take away there protein in february and this usually causes them to drop(of course this is what they claim caused them to drop) Anyway just my two cents haven't seen an antlered buck since first week of march.
