Just wanted to get the talking started amoungst the team. I am not sure, but if it is the same as last year we will have to come up with a team name and avatar (if we want one). I am looking forward to talking with everyone.

Here is to team 7 and the 06-07 deer season :darkbeer:

Checking in.

Well it looks as if we have a good team this year. If I haven't over looked anybody we have the 3 members that killed the top 3 bucks in last years contest. Thats got to be a good sign. I'm not counting on doing it again this year but it would be nice. I can't wait for season to start!

Here are the 2 that I took last year.

Nice Bucks

I have game cams out right now and as soon as I get some pics I will try to post some. If anyone else has anything to be excited for in the upcoming season, post some pics for us to see. Nice Buck IL!! I haven't got a picture of my trophy wall to put up, but I got a 165" 10 pt. and a 153" 9 point. It looks just like yours on the right except Mine is missing one of the brow tines.

Here I am, here I am, officially signing in!

We saw a really nice buck a couple weeks ago while we were out scouting. Looks like it's going to be a good year.

Hope everyone gets some good'uns!

THe key to doing well in the contest will be killing does. The bucks will fall into place for some of us, but we should all be able to contribute a doe. Barring something tragic I'll guarantee a doe and keep my fingers crossed for a good buck.

Here is my buck from last year and my benchmark for this year:

checking in...

Looks like we have a good team shaping up. I'm from PA but do most of my serious bowhunting in the midwest. I've hunted Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and hunted the last 5 years in Kansas. I hope I can contribute something to the team this year.

Nice pic's so far guys.....Here's one I took a few years back.

Just checking in. I'm in Ohio and plan to take my biggest buck ever this year! Looks like we'll have a very competitive team.

Whats up guys? Looks like we got potential for some great bucks. I will post a few pictures later. I will second the comment on shooting does. That is the key to win. Last year I couldn't ever get my pictures resized to post the doe I did take, but I am ready this year with my wifes camera. LOL.

I will try to think of a team name.

Brainstorming for name...

What about "Lucky 7 Shooters" ?

I don't know how this went last year, so I guess this was my best effort for a name. Hopefully, I'll be able to add a 30 point, 500 pound buck to our score...

So far we have six from team 7 who haven't checked in. Some may not know about the team threads, and I'm sure some are just too darned busy to live on AT. I'll send out PM's asking folks to check in here.

It would be really great if everyone could pop in now and then after the seasons open and just let everyone know what's going on.

I may not harvest a monster but for sure ill harvest a doe for the team. and hopefully a nice buck. i plan on hunting every day this bow season because i have some land 5 minutes away... Team 7 Is gonna win
No need to kill a "monster" (of course it wouldn't hurt:wink: ). Just kill what suits you. If we can get everyone to kill a doe and for those who don't get a buck two does, we stand a darn good chance of placing toward the top.

Good luck.

Welcome aboard C_NOGLE. If you're hunting in Hamilton or Clermont county, I'm sure we can expect aBIG buck from you. You are in what I believe to be the best area of the state for big bucks. Good luck!!
