This puts the D350 right about at the low end of their IBO spec of 342, pretty nice.Shot one at the dealer 71.8 pounds, 29 inch module, 370 grain arrow at 327-328 consistently.
09 82nd 29" 315 fps 71lbs wb dloop 1/8 g5 peep goldtip 7595 100gr field points = 315fpsso with all the reports im seeing the 82nd is still king of speed for bowtech. :darkbeer: looks like im keeping mine at least 1 more year.
09 82nd 29" 315 fps 71lbs wb dloop 1/8 g5 peep goldtip 7595 100gr field points = 315fps
destroyer 350 29" 312 fps 70lbs wb dloop 1/8 g5 peep st axis 340 100gr field points = 312fps
destroyer is definitely easier to shoot imo. longer valley than the 82nd and holds nice. i will hang on to the 82nd though. made my first archery kill with the 82nd this year.
I just purchased a 340 tonight!! the shop had it set at my draw at 31",no peep and a WB rest.shot my CE's at 390grn at 62lbs at 312fps.in the next couple of days I'm going to finish setting it up with all my gear and test it at 65lbs and if you guys are interested I'll post up the info.I really dont feel like starting another "I got my D340 today".I've taken 5 with my 82nd and I'm anxious to put the 340 up against my 82nd side by side with all the different arrows I have.
Right now, for hunting, I'm shooting a 465 grain arrow, 280 fps at 62 lbs. For 3D, 320 gr arrow, 327fps same poundage.
I know my friends 340 just came in BC'd 29" at 335!
thats some awesome speed for 62lbs. that bow is gonna be blazin when cranked up. keep us postedI just purchased a 340 tonight!! the shop had it set at my draw at 31",no peep and a WB rest.shot my CE's at 390grn at 62lbs at 312fps.in the next couple of days I'm going to finish setting it up with all my gear and test it at 65lbs and if you guys are interested I'll post up the info.I really dont feel like starting another "I got my D340 today".

my feelings on the valley as well. my 82nd was set like shooting a recurve. barley any valley.09 82nd 29" 315 fps 71lbs wb dloop 1/8 g5 peep goldtip 7595 100gr field points = 315fps
destroyer 350 29" 312 fps 70lbs wb dloop 1/8 g5 peep st axis 340 100gr field points = 312fps

do you hunt with these arrows? i believe my arrows are in the neighborhood of 420-430 grmy 09 82nd shoots 336 with a 350 gr cx at 71# and a 29 inch draw with a g5 peep and loop. it shot 333 out of the box before any tuning. i havent shot the destroyer 350 yet but pretty happy with the way the 82nd shoots. not to hi jack your thread just comparing the two
im going to have to make sure that my limbs are maxed out.....i had very little time to mess with it the day i bought it and ever since for that matter. it seems a little slow to me given your #1 scenario. mine was very similar to yours and it is much slower. maybe the chrono i was using was junk???My BT Destroyer 350 extensively chronoed.
1.) 71.7# @ 29"DL, 350gr = 342 FPS
2.) 65# @ 29"DL, 368gr = 317 FPS (this is my current setup, hunting setup)
3.) 60# @ 29"DL, 368gr = 305 FPS (this WAS my old setup)
Believe half of what you read on AT. And that's being generous.im going to have to make sure that my limbs are maxed out.....i had very little time to mess with it the day i bought it and ever since for that matter. it seems a little slow to me given your #1 scenario. mine was very similar to yours and it is much slower. maybe the chrono i was using was junk???![]()
