For FITA field, the 1st day is unmarked distances so a lighter arrow will help getting you more speed and therefore more forgiveness if you mis-range a target. I shoot Victory Vforce HV 400's and I am getting 280fps. On the other hand, shooting FITA target in an open field would require a heavier skinnier arrow to minimize wind drift. Like an X10, CX Nano etc. I hope this helps.

For FITA I'd set up my peep height to be comfortable at 70m (or even 90m).
For Field I'd have it setup to be comfortable at 40-50m.

Some people prefer mid-diameter-cutting ability shafts (like Redlines or Lightspeeds) for FIELD, while for FITA - obviously Nano/X10.
