DIY Broadhead Sharpener

Kind of, more of a mod. I took a oak board the same width as a GATCO stone holder. I made it a little longer and glued a piece of leather the entire length and width. I then put some polishing compound and some Mothers paste on it and used it to hone some slick tricks and a few knives. It works great. I was able to get new blades sharper. If you are challenged with holding the blade at the right angle this will work for you. I hold the rod so that when I stroke the blade downward my fingers act as a stop so I dont knick the blade with the rod. You are pulling down the blade rather pushing. Sorry no camera,no pics.
