This is 1 pic of many mounts that I've done for myself and for my buddies. I'll be doing at least 6 after christmas and i'll take some pic's of the process as i go,and try to get them posted. this is a very easy way to do it yourself and inexpensive. But I have found that instead of using velvet,which some people like, I go to a leather shop and get pigskin that you can get in many colors.
it's thin enough to stretch over the base ,and it looks great. I also buy a roll of hemp type rope for around the horn bases and I'll soak it in coffee till i get the color I want.
