Gents,
I am a fairly serious whitetail hunter and my scent regimen is strong, I use Free and Clear detergent year round, towels, sheets, everything. Dove Unscented bar soap and Scent killer camo shampoo. all my gear is in Dry bags ( $10 @ walmart, I recommend them) Everything is either Scent Lock or washed in Scent killer dirt detergent.
I wear Gore tex Leather hiking boots from NorthFace. They are so comfortable, lightweight, and easy to travel, instead of the fat moon boots I grew up wearing. I keep them in a dry bag soaked down with carbon spray with my pack.
My question is, I know rubber boots are king, but they are such a bear to hike in.
What do you wear? and Should I suck it up and get a pair?
