Do you think I am crazy

Has anyone heard of The Mangus 5 outfitters for a elk drop camp? Could anyone please tell me the good and bad about drop camps. The units are 74 and 75 in Colorado. How crazy is it for a flatlander to do a drop camp as a first time elk hunt. I will have others with me with a couple of guided elk hunts under them already. Any advise, opinions, or slaps up side the head screaming "what are you thinking" are welcome. Thanks in advance.......

I am going on a DIY back pack wilderness hunt for my first archery elk hunt. Call me crazy I don't have an extra 2-5 grand lying around.
