I just changed the sting on my Hoyt Katera from the fuse string to 452x. Will this in turn make me a little slower or stay the same. thanks

I put a 452X set from bucknasty on my Vectrix XL and gained a few fps.

I think apples to apples as for as strand count, if you switch from 8125 to 452x you will lose some speed.

I think you are right. From what I understand, 452x has more stands than 8125, which will make it slower.
