I have two ultra tecs with 2000 limbs & regular cam&1/2 and like
them.But I was thinking about getting a ultra tec 3000limbs& 29in
spiral cam.Does anybody have this bow?if so what do you think
about it?What speed are you getting out of this bow at what
grain arrow? It seems like it would be one heck of a 3-d bow!!
THANKS,
Jeffrey

I sure do! 28" draw, 308 grain arrow, had to turn the poundage down to 54# to get it down to 280 fps! I like this bow so much, I just got another for hunting. The bow just about shoots itself. :D

I had a Protec with 3000 limbs and the spiral cam . It was around $175 more than a standard cam.5 .
I'm not sure but I'll bet 2000 limbs with the spiral cam on a UT would be alot cheaper and faster .

There's like an $80 fee for custom shop bows, and then the XT3000 limbs cost a bit more than XT2000. There's no problem with the XT2000 with spirals, but with the speed the cams generate, you can afford to go to the longer limbs and still get ALL the performance you need. This is the first time in a long time I've shot a bow over 38" ATA, and I'm loving it! The specs missing from my first post are 40" ATA, and 7 3/8" brace height. Pretty impressive. I had a UT XT2000 spiral that came in, but for target shooting I wanted more than 36" ATA. Man, I'm glad I waited. You will be too.

I have 30.5" draw length with my UT XT3000. I was using a UT XT2000, 31" DL with good result but I am more confortable with my XT3000 (string angle).

I hope Hoyt would make it standard next year with Spiral Cams to get that extra ft/sec for FITA while having a super accurate bow.

I saw Ed (Xs24-7) using it (UT XT3000 Spiral) and it seem to be a total package!

I have one of each. An XT3000 at 30.5 inches and an XT2000 30.5 inches. Both with the spiral. The 3000 gets 308 fps with a 372 grain linejammer at 72 lbs draw.
