I just made some new arrows today and I noticed that this stuff is having a hard time drying...
Loctite Ultra Gel Control works well. Use it carefully/sparingly though since excess will dry that ugly white chalk color.wondering if I can just use loctite from the box store? dont really want to wait on the mail each time i need glue..
I’ve had good luck with blue cap gorilla glue. The loctite I feel is a little too runny and can make a bit of a mess. The gorilla glue is slightly thicker. 3 or 4 drops on vane base and spread with a toothpick.wondering if I can just use loctite from the box store? dont really want to wait on the mail each time i need glue...

Like noted above, yes, glues can go bad, but stored in cool darkness they can last years. I store mine in the refrigerator. I use Bohning Platinum and the tube I'm using now has to going 3 years old and works great.View attachment 7711631 Does this stuff go bad over time?
