Doinker Stabilizers

First off...What is the actual reason for a stabilizer? is it for you or recoil? or both

second..anyone use the Doinker 11.5 inch power bar for a hunting stabilizer..seems kinda heavy but should work huh?

To me, the purpose of a stabilizer is to get hung up in the brush while hunting.

Actually, I shoot the same with a stabilizer as I do without one. So mine is in the tackle box. I run & gun so I don't need that extra weight on my bow.

I guess at my age I should refrase that to crawl & gun.
