Well all last week me and my buddy had planned an elk hunt and I was looking forward to tagging a bear. Well that winter storm watch didn't slow our plans down! Saturday morning we woke up and it was raining. By the time we got to the spot we were chasing elk on September 17th in snow up to our knees! Did we see anything or hear any bugles? Hell no!!!
But we walked 5 miles in a winter wonderland!

Anyone else have this problem?

I know what you mean

some years back in southwest Louisiana(back home) the mercury dipped to under 40 degrees...I found myself hunting in flurries almost 500 yards from my car...I kept trudging...no quit in me :)
