Had some time on my hands and 2 tails just finished. I know still need to blow them out to make them look good. But wanted to see if it worked first. Made the shelf out of old barnwood. Used same wood for the tail holders. Now to convince my wife it needs to move from barn to house.

Very nice! If you would like to make the fresh cut edges go away soak some steel wool in vinegar. Then just brush the vinegar on the cut edges. The longer you let it soak the darker the solution will make the cut edge. Test it on your scrap pieces till you get it to your liking

Very nice. I'm currently making one as well. Went and tore apart 5 pallets and I am making mine out of that.
