Getting back into archery hunting. I use to shoot a 28 inch draw. I went and tried several bows and the string seems to rest on my chest at a 28 and 27 inch draw. I was told that if you hold a yard stick to your chest and reach out this will give you a starting point. I hit 26 inches. The bow shop didn't have anything in that draw length. Small shop with a not very good sales guy to help me through the problem. I would guess the string hitting my chest would be a problem. I have heard with the new bows that some people are shooting shorter draws. Does this sound right. Thanks for any help you can give me. Big investment want it to be right.
