How are the draw lengths running on the new switchback and allegiance? My local shop does not have a large selection so I usually have to order what I want.

It has been frustrating in the past to order a 28" bow and receive something between 28.5 and 29.25". I will play the game (even though I think it is stupid that there is no adherence to standards) and order what is necessary to get a true AMO 28" draw bow.

So, I would appreciate any actual measurements to judge how far off the '05 models are. Thanks!

The Switchback we received was marked 29" but it draws 29 1/2"

We are STILL WAITING to receive Bowtechs. We were originally told we would have at least one before XMas. WHen the first of the package that was ordered arrives, I will measure it too and post findings.

I was deciding between the Outback and the Switchback and so we measured and the Switchback drawlength came in at 29 5/8th on a 29" cam. I tried an Outback and Switchback at another shop and again the Switchback draw was around 3/8th longer than the Outback. I didn't measure precisely on the second one but around 29 3/4. I think you're going to have to go a half inch shorter cam on the Switchback.
