Has anyone had problems with their drop away getting frozen while hunting? Or had any other related problems?


I am considering a switch but am leery of the reliance on a mechanical rest....

I have been using one (TR Dropzone) for a few years now without any problems and that includes very cold wet weather.

When I first purchased my bow package from hunter's friend it came with a QAD ultra drop away. While shooting in the backyard, it didn't drop and blew the rest across the lawn

I contacted hunter's friend and told them what had happened (after only about 50 shots) and they rushed a new one to me right away. I installed the new one and have been shooting almost every day since (Oct. 2005) without a single problem. (I shoot at least 300 shots per week, usually more)

I love it!
